The Jardin à la Française rugs, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1985 for the hypostyle hall of the Palais d’Iéna, complement the armchair of the same name in a cohesive set conceived to structure the monumental space. Inspired by the precise patterns of classical garden beds, they define conversational areas within the grand columned hall.
