F050 chair
In 1972, Pierre Paulin was commissioned by the presidential couple, Claude and Georges Pompidou, to redesign their private apartments at the Élysée Palace, including the dining room and the smoking rooms creating iconic and timeless interiors.
The dining chairs share the same central pedestal base as the tables, establishing a formal continuity between the elements. Their corolla-shaped, enveloping seat reflects the organic vocabulary Paulin was developing at the time, echoing the soft and fluid forms of the surrounding furniture.
Different colors available upon request.
