In January 2025, Paulin, Paulin, Paulin inaugurates «Sounds Like Paulin» a unique artistic experience. Alice and Benjamin Paulin transform their home into a musical creation space where the gallery, office, and family living room become the stage for a sonic celebration. Far from attempting to rival a traditional recording studio, this space prioritizes spontaneity: the house itself becomes an instrument, its walls, furniture, and everyday objects participating in the creation.
Pierre Paulin's works, known for fostering exchanges, provide the ideal environment for this musical exploration. For six months, the venue will host a series of artistic encounters where music will organically emerge from the interactions between artists and their environment. In contrast to music platforms where algorithms confine artists and listeners to predictable universes, this project aims to become a place for inspiring encounters between musicians from different artistic backgrounds. Spontaneity and unpredictability are favored, creating an environment conducive to discoveries and unexpected collaborations.
«With Alice, we want to transform the concept of the salon into an immersive sonic meeting place - a space to bring together friends who might otherwise never have crossed paths. We will produce an album that captures the sonic essence of Pierre Paulin.» - Benjamin Paulin
Sounds Like Paulin shapes a unique soundscape where design, music, and human relationships intertwine, proposing a new topography of artistic creation.
